Is it me or is the GOP OUTTA CONTROL with this election? All they do is attack |
|
at anything that can be twisted/distorted/smeared to their advantage.
Nary a report of success or advancing the Nation..
All they do is denigrate....
No wonder they cannot govern/administer positively....they are stuck on the NEGATIVE MODE
Look at the big picture...you can't miss it.

12. They ALWAYS attack, always have, always will..... |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 01:49 PM by tableturner
That's why Dems need to always be ready with a swift and deadly rebuttal no matter WHAT election is being contested, and no matter WHAT election trends exist. It is even MORE important to put them on the defensive first by attacking them with the truth before they attack us. When it comes to dealing with the GOP, hit them hard, hit them again, keep hitting them, and then hit them some more. It we don't, then they will be doing it to us.
To add on edit: A perfect example is to look at the Dem and Repug conventions of two years ago. All the pundits, and all the GOP talking heads said "The Democrats better be careful and not get caught up in attacking Bush too much during their convention, because voters don't like that and will take it out on them come election day". Well....the Dems had a weak, chicken convention, only to be followed by a constantly attacking GOP convention a few weeks later. That GOP convention set the tone for the remainder of the election and put us on the defensive, and we never recovered from it.
I say again: When it comes to dealing with the GOP, hit them hard, hit them again, keep hitting them, and then hit them some more.
One more edit addition: The next time the pundits and GOP talking heads say "The Democrats better not _______", then we had better go ahead and DO ________. When will we learn this?

41. I think YouTube & ever present videotaping has revealed a lot |
|
In the past, if somebody claimed, "Sen. Bedfellow used a racial slur." it would have just taken a spokesman saying, "We deny those ridiculous charges."
But, with people filming every campaign event and uploading gaffes onto YouTube within minutes, it means you can no longer lie & deny. It has allowed the world to see what a bunch of racist pigs head the Republic Party.
Even 2 years ago, there was no equivalent of YouTube to showcase such blunders.
