It seems that ever since 1968, I have watched the Democrats catch fire just a week too late to do any good. It seems that going into the last days, the polls start shifting, and shifting fast, to support Democrats. I don't know how many times I have wished that the election could have been delayed a week. This time around, the shift is starting early. Let's hope it keeps going in the right direction and keeps accelerating.
