Deregulation... How do Pugs explain British Petro? |
|
So since companies are now responsible for their own regulation... how's that working out?
British Petroleum passed on routine maintenence on the North Slope... the result much damage to environment, fields shut down etc. British Petroleum passed on maintenence of their refinnery in Houston... result... 15 DEAD.
RePugs passed on oversite, instead propagandizing that the kind corps should police themselves. How's that working out for us?
On top of this... this is being done (not done) by a FOREIGN CORPORATION. How is it different the idea of the US going into third world countries, raping the enviornment, taking the countries resources without regulation or penalties, and BP coming to america and doing the same. This is due to the puggies giving away our resources to foreign countries and allowing them to pollute, and kill in our own country for MONEY.
rant over (but why is this angle not being explored?) tib

1. We're becoming a third-world country |
|
We export raw materials and import finished products. We borrow money instead of loan it. And we're being run by a tinpot idiot of a dictator after he and his cronies rigged and stole 2 elections.
Now we just need a huge banana crop and a guerrilla war, and we'd be all set.
