|
Went straight to voice mail, and the mailbox is full.
I called his local (Charleston, WV) office. I went to voice mail there too, but at least I was able to leave a message.
I told them I could understand if he decides not to support a filibuster, but I want him to at least vote against Alito. We Democrats need to send a message that says, "Alito is your Supreme Court Justice, not ours.
I made sure they will know that I am a voting constituent.

-Takes the side of corporations.-

What's this crap? Since Senator Kennedy is rich and powerful, he is not qualified to lobby against those who favor only the rich and powerful? Inhofe is a total weasel.
Inhofe sounds like someone who is trying to tell his wife that he has no idea how those fancy lace panties got into his pickup truck.

I really want to see some of our senators stand up and start reading the minds of the Repubs and saying things like, "I know that Senator <insert name here> really wants to just bend over and take it from the President, but, because he can't do that, he's saying he'll vote for A-lee-toh instead."
I'm getting really freaking tired of all these Repubs trying to say they know why Kennedy or Kerry or *ANYONE ELSE* said anything they did.

Including Coulter would be like inviting Charles Manson to your PTA meetings. You would want to get someone who is at least a little bit funny, and she's not. She's not going to come to terms with anybody. See, she's made a career of not getting along with people. She intentionally comes up with the most outrageous things she can. That's because she really has nothing else to say.
I wouldn't watch if she were on.
