up anything about this war the worse it is for them. They want people to think of their great economy not Iraq.

they forgot to tell us about it. It's one thing people won't buy, they know how much is in the bank account when the bills come due and they need food on the table. This is all they got to push though.

3. Stupid Rethugs - they are giving Kerry a platform to |
|
1) highlight their Iraq failures (not the subject the R's want to be discussing) and (2) launch his 2008 presidential bid.

4. That McCain has stepped in shows Kerry has hit their achilles |
|
John McCain was called in by the WH to slam Kerry for his comments. Why? Because they know public sentiment is against both their conduct of the war and their treatment of the troops and veterans. They need their big gun- John McCain to give them cred. They are totally on the defensive, and Kerry is returning the volleys and then some.
Bush now has no other choice but to defend himself against the charges. Make no mistake, Bush's attacks to come on Kerry are in fact made in defense. Bush must and will lose this debate.

It looks like McCain has been tapped as the most "respectable" spokesman for the administration.
He has also written an article for the latest issue of Mechanics Illustrated (a very poor one) atttacking the "conspiracy theorists" of 911. The fact thar McCain would be tasked with such a chore, I think, exposes the soreness of the issue and the concern that the continuing and rising criticism of the "official" 911 story poses for the powers that be.
I know there are plenty on this site who would side with the administration on 911, but the dispute is by no means going to go away as long as the Repugs continue to attempt to pour gasoline on the fire.

6. The only way he'll really get caught |

is if the MSM covers both sides and not just Dimson's. Otherwise, only those who frequent websites like or DU or watch shows like Countdown (I'm assuming Keith will cover this) will know the truth.
