Several of us were discussing this several days ago - with thanks to Norquist Nemesis - wondering how we should address the issue of WHY we pay taxes, especially how it applies to the scare tactics republi-CONS are screeching at this late hour - about "Democrats will Raise Your Taxes!!!!"

I'd love your response/reaction. 'Cause we DO need to start re-educating people. It's NOT about "tax relief." It goes far deeper.

so more people will see it. The better-armed we are, from discussing this issue among ourselves, the better we'll be able to discuss it and win debates about it, with outsiders and opponents. Who knows - with a sufficiently convincing argument, we could even win a few people over.
