I got your back, J.K.!
I'm not gonna sit back while the right wing nutjobs try to defame you!

I'm not going to let them spin this as being about anyone other than George Bush! I get the joke:

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq."

George Bush didn't study hard or do his homework on Iraq, he didn't make the effort to be smart about it. That's what you were saying and every word of it is true. Any time someone tries to make this about the troops, I'm going to say, "George Bush didn't do the homework on Iraq, did he?" And I'm going to keep repeating it until they say, "No, he didn't."

Then I'll say, "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT KERRY SAID."

You keep speaking the truth, calling 'em the "right wing nutjobs" that they are, and you can know for a fact that I've got your back.

16. Other people to e-mail: Your local candidates, news stations
The local news stations (here in MN, anyway) are letting the Republican candidates get away with murder right now, saying J.K. insulted our troops. The local candidates are being asked to comment and are waffling instead of setting the record straight. Tell your local candidates to tell the news that:

We are sick and tired of right-wing wordplay shenanigans! We won't play their games anymore! We know what this election is about... it's about a changing course in Iraq, and getting rid of the incompetence and corruption in Washington. Not right-wing wordplay shenanigans.

And tell your local news:

It's plain to see that Kerry was speaking about George Bush getting stuck in Iraq because Bush didn't do his homework. The right wing plays the media, and you keep buying right into it. How about getting some balance on your airwaves from people who are willing to state the obvious -- that the Republicans are just using right-wing wordgames to distract the public from the issues?

8. So do CNN, ABC, NBC, PBS and the BBC
Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 07:42 PM by enigma000
All the networks (well, except FOX the Fascist propaganda orifice) will rally to Kerry. Thank Allah the media is still (to some extent) on our side. Maybe we can, Allah willing, kill this story.

But still, you stupid Americans couldn't get this guy elected in the first place. But really, how the fuck, do you think this guy's comments are going to help now?

9. So do I.
I've just finished reading about what happened today and I'm really disgusted.

Senator Kerry was shamelessly attacked by both the Republicans and the media. I'm with the senator on this 100%. Nobody has supported the troops more than the good senator has.

Bush will rue the day over this. Big mistake. They are going down.

American citizens across our nation are reporting for duty, Senator Kerry. We will have your back.

13. But Bush....
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq."
~~~~
Didn't make the most of it.
He didn't study hard.
He didn't do his homework.
And he didn't make an effort to be smart.
That doesn't sound like a joke aimed at Bush, that sounds like Kerry is complimenting him! He only got to Yale because of who his daddy was, and he was a medicore student at best who did better as a Skull and Bones man than anything else. I just don't see the point of saying this at all.
17. John Kerry is A DINO
Folks, let me go out on a limb here, put on my flame suit. I feel that John Kerry is a DINO (Democrat in Name Only) Remember, Kerry admits that he is Skull and Bones just like Bush, and he will not go out of his way to deny it. Kerry's Rope-A-Dope Act in 2004 (among oyther things) COST US THE ELECTION! I think Kerry is a Wolf in sheep's clothing and is best left alone, or put out to pasture somewhere with Joe Liberman where neither of these snakes can do any more harm.
19. So Kerry's a Dino--
And the $11 million dollars he's given to Dem candidates--was that Monopoly money? How about the hundreds of campaign stops on behalf of Dem candidates--was he really working against them somehow?
Democrats like to see facts and evidence, not just assertions.
20. He told us to stop crying in our teacups,,,
About the 2000 coup as well, and I will not forget that. I never much cared for him myself, and am tired of having to walk on eggshells just because people put Party before everything else. And yes, the "Skull and Bones" allegiance is something I also don't like. He should have just kept quiet the last week. Now who knows how much of their base Republicans will be able to motivate to get out and vote because of his supposed "gaffe."
Listening to the spin doctors on tv, you'd think the bulk of Americans are so dimwitted that whichever side gets the last lick in will be the ultimate winners. Duh. Can they possibly be more out of touch with how sick, tired, & disgusted we are with Bushworld politics?
Just look at this crowd below in attendance of a Kerry's 2004 campaign appearance. Keep in mind that this is just one representation of how hungry people are for new leadership. And the numbers across the country of sick & tired people have grown significantly since the election:
