How I'd deal with the Kerry flap...
Remember this quote?

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

If the DNC had any balls, they'd put out a press release demanding to know why Bush hates the American people so much that he never stops thinking about new ways to harm America and its people. Then they could trot out a procession of prominent Dems, survivors of terrorist attacks and the like, all of them indignantly demanding an apology.

Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 08:47 PM by INdemo
Because republicans do not want the Iraq war to be in the spotlight.
Media pukes like Blitzer will have a tough time letting this story die but tomorrow different story and business as usual.I agree with the above post Kerry was not wrong..We were lied to when we got into this war,we have lost over 2800 soldiers for what, what has changed except things have gotten worse.

4. I hope so.
A week before the election I would hope that we could leave the jokes and humor to the professionals who know how to pull it off without it having to be explained.

...and jog everyone's mind with this little gem:

In fact, blow that shit up poster-size, even if it is two years after the fact (my grandfather was permanently handicapped at age 20 and received two Purple Hearts, so to this day seeing that picture makes me want to kill with my bare hands anyone who tells me they could witness that and still vote Republican). When they're not mocking them they're hiding behind them like the chickenshits they are.

Oh, it probably wouldn't be a good political idea, but I've got a memory as long as the media's is short (that, and I can hold a grudge like a motherfucker), and I do not recall outrage or calls for apologies or pronouncements of "arrogance" two years ago. Let's get an apology for that, shall we?

What's that you say? Hell's experiencing a heat wave that shows no sign of abating? Yeah, thought as much...
