turns out it was a mircr-tornado that made the silo "explode" (along with 2 others and a house :( ) He's still trying to figure out what it was this time.

6. Grain dust is extremely explosive.
It has levelled grain elevators in the past. I grew up on a farm and knew never to have any fire or flame anywhere near a grainery.

10. no clue, except...
he says his home has been robbed twice in the past year (this is a town where we NEVER locked our doors, growing up).
Immigration was just seen snooping around at the corporate pig farm a few weeks ago, lot of illegals have left town, and he now has a new job in the breeder barn for $1.50 more an hour than they used to pay (no shit!)

I'm sure the explosion is in no way related to the new job, or the demographic shifts that seem to be going on .... but it was just WEIRD! and I had to share. :)
