When does Clinton get his Nobel Peace Prize? |
|
I live in CA, where they're showing the best commercials of Clinton supporting Prop 87. The man is still so commanding, persuasive, benevolent, and has such perspective that he just has to be a perennial finalist for the Peace Prize. How long until he gets one? I'm treating as a foregone conclusion that he will win one. At least one.
He is my President, even now.

2. Jimmy Carter earned one. |

Clinton arguably has greater geopolitical acumen and similar humanitarian instincts. I think Clinton would richly deserve one.

Yes, he has the potential, but Carter has done far more for world peace and human rights. A lot of the William J. Clinton Foundation projects are still in the works, while the Carter Center has a long time of fighting for human rights and fair elections. Giving Clinton the Nobel Peace Prize at this time would be premature and undeserved, since there are hundreds if not thousands of people who, without being known by most of the world population, have done much more for peace and equality.
