Media continues to insist that Kerry apologize
Just watched AC 360's coverage. Guergen kept saying
he should go ahead and apologize. Guergen simulatneously
keeps emphasizing "I do not believe Kerry was referring
to the troops.". He also stated how Democrats are
upset with Kerry. (the old circular firing squad)

Why is there such a double standard?? The Media will
harrangue Democrats non-stop--just pounding. They
permit the WH and Bush to go with unanswered questions
continuously. If Bush Cheney or Rumsfeld decide not
to answer questions, they do not develop a whole
TV program for the evening discussing the fact that
the President or his Cabinet Members do not answer questions.
If they make fauxpau--they are given a pass. When there
were Democratic Presidents, they ride them about everything.

I have wondered about this for a long long time.

It was good to see Kerry show he could fight, I must say.

1. Kerry will not apologize, and has no reason to.
I love him for that.

3. "The Media" can kiss my naked ass ...

Sides and middle and then go suck on a lemon.

Did I say that aloud?

Yeah, I think I did.

4. Bush should apologize for not doing his homework and getting
stuck in Iraq. And the media should apologize for enabling Bush to live in denial.

Bush has sent nearly 3000 U.S. soldiers to their deaths. Kerry has not caused the death of a single U.S. soldier.

5. Not ALL media, But there's ALWAYS going to be predominantly right-wing assholes
in the media favoring the cocksucker Bush and his band of heartless killers and thieves.

6. Something tells me
that if Kerry had given a Pope Benedict apology ("I'm sorry if I upset anyone") that this would be a one or two day story, and that video tape of him saying, "I'm not apologizing to anyone," makes this a one week story. One we don't need.

7. What evidence is there that "Democrats" are "upset" with Kerry?
I'm a little upset with other Democrats for being reluctant to relinquish this nonissue, and I'm sure there are some Dems who don't get the context of the quote in question and think he actually has something to apologize for, and I'm sure there are others who think he should apologize just because Dems are supposed to be apologetic for being Dems.

But Gergen is full of shit. End of story.

8. They can kiss my shiny metal butt
Where were they the last time a Republican said something heinous? It's pretty obvious where their loyalties are.

9. "He also stated how Democrats are upset with Kerry."
Edited on Wed Nov-01-06 02:14 AM by NanceGreggs
Okay, David. Name them.

Same question to Paula Zahn, who earlier tonight said, "According to our CNN correspondents, Democrats across the country want Kerry to apologize for his remarks."

Name them, Paula. And while you're at it, name the so-called CNN correspondents who are feeding you this information.

The classic tale of CNN, and all MSM talking hairdos: "THEY are all saying ..."

Who are "THEY"?

Name them.

10. Gergen is a traitor only in it for himself. His opinions are worthless, though well compensated.
