Is there no end to the insanity of the "conservative right'?

What more insanity awaits us beyond the uncontested LIE that sent our soldiers to die in an illegal, undeclared war with no end in sight? Or the squandering of millions of dollars meant to aid the thousands of citizens who are STILL destitute, homeless and starving in the aftermath of Katrina; or the deals made for record profits with the oil fat friends of this administration, while we subsidize them at the pumps with our hard earned money and the blood of our soldiers; what more insanity besides sacrificing the health of low and middle-class Americans to the insurance and pharmaceutical corporations or giving their loyal billionaire friends the tax relief that we will -never- see as long as they are in power;

Could anything be more insane than stranding our troops in a hostile country without proper weapons or armor or clean water or decent food while they wheel and deal to undercut the military to make massive profits? Are we insane to allow the republican congress to cut the funding to veteran's programs while they continue to ignore the medical needs of our soldiers when they are FINALLY permitted to return to what is left of their lives? Is there more beyond their psychopathic willingness to do ANYTHING to stay in power? They use calculated lies and manufactured fear to distract and manipulate us while they secretly destroy our rights and gut our Constitution. How insane are we to join them as they divide our country and validate hatred and suspicion as TRUE American 'values'?

They hope to deny equal rights to every single American citizen, while they continue to obfuscate and delay oversight so that our voting rights are finally corrupted. They also seek to dilute our right to peaceful assembly and protest and don't forget their plan to scuttle Social Security while they set the stage for complete Theocracy. Is there no end to the insanity of the 'conservative right'?

Well, now I hear they are planning to spend millions of OUR tax dollars to create an Abstinence Program for adults. A program that is designed to encourage the abstinence of single adults until they reach the age of 30!

This is how they plan to spend our tax dollars? Instead of addressing the dire needs of this country and our military, this is their priority? To control and manipulate the sex lives of young adults? How else do they plan to meddle in and control our lives? And this is from the folks who cry out against big and intrusive government. This is from the mouths of 'true conservatives'. What could possibly be next?

Is there no end to their insanity? Is there no end to ours to have allowed any of this to stand? It is impossible to believe that they have not been removed before now... but they continue and people are STILL voting for them. They continue to undercut us, use us, abuse us, manipulate us, steal from us, lie to us, control our lives, threaten us, accuse us of treason, stifle our voices and denigrate us; they blame the real heroes, while they redefine honor according to their own pathetic standards; they brainwash us, economically enslave us... and each day they lower the bar because -they- control the media and no doubt have plans for the internet....

When will this be enough? When will we stop allowing them to distract us with petty and vindictive clamor as if we were children? Mr Bush gleefully latches onto to Mr Kerry as he did two years ago. His rabid histrionics validate the pretense of self righteous indignation; he has found a CAUSE that will turn the focus away from IRAQ. He is the inciter now, not the uniter.

We cannot allow them to succeed with their sly and subtle manipulations. We must stay focused. While we are arguing about who should apologize and for what....the invisible chains of subjugation tighten around us.

I fear the October surprise has come as promised - not with a shock.. but with a nasty smirk and the smug point of a finger.

And you are probably still dealing with the leftovers of his dubious legacy as governor. Keep fightin the good fight... I believe that this is the beginning of the end for the Bush Cabal and I don't think he will be too happy about it.

I remember the first time they trotted that shrub out to the public - he was such a dimwit I laughed, wondering how someone so intellectually devoid could be interested in politics. I still remember the chill that came over me when it struck me: THEY ARE GOING TO INSTALL THAT PIECE OF SHIT INTO THE WHITE HOUSE. Yes.
