18. Or at least abstain from the cloture vote....."They" need 60 votes.
We do not necessarrily need 41, but they must have 60 to shut down debate. Try to urge Senators who are on the fence to just abstain from the cloture vote and any rules changes...nuking.

22. interesting development: Boxer's office isn't commenting either
It seems very unlikely that Boxer wouldn't support the filibuster, so this makes Feinstein's silence look more like strategy than procrastination. I hope.

42. I called her Washington office
and the woman that answered was very nice, she recorded my zip and was very sympathetic. Before I called Washington I called the San Diego office first and the guy that was answering the phone sounded bothered by the phone call even though I reminded him that I am her constiuent hence the reason I called the second number at the Washington office to make sure that my call got logged.

*Note to anyone calling if they sound like you are bothering them call another number. Don't trust our democracy to some jackass that can't be bothered with the people that put their boss in office.

44. I generally can get through to her Fresno office
Sometimes they seem lonely there.
Sadly, she really is my senator (despite my comment above). She can usually be counted on for betrayal more than anything else. But we've got to got to got to got to call her.
Tell her we'll name all the abandoned babies after her, post Roe v. Wade reversal.
Tell her we'll give "Dianne baskets" to mothers who need to leave their babies on doorsteps.
Tell her we'll put her name on the headstone where Congress is buried when killed by the "unitary executive."
Call her anything you want, just call her!

46. Spoke to her LA office and she's voting AGAINST
However Steven at her office said she will not go for a filibuster, since she feels that they don't have the votes for a filibuster. Those were his words. I argued for it... That was at about 3pm today, Thursday. MAYBE IF WE DELUGE HER WE CAN CONVINCE HER TO JOIN KERRY WITH THE FILIBUSTER!!!

49. Money talks!
Use this zip code: 94611. Oakland Hills/ Piedmont. Your average zip code in the US gave $45,274 in political contributions in 2004. 94611 gave $1,987,641. MOST of that money went to Democrats! Dianne's up for re-election, you know.

Where I got these figures: http://www.opensecrets.org/index.asp
