I've seen the video feed from an Arab news source and don't know exactly what I saw. I looked for details of the story in our media and found very little.

That combination has some people doubting that the explosions actually happened, or that they were what we think they were.

All associated rumors aside, a reporter at the Pentagon needs to ask that question as nakedly as you posed it in your title.
