I'd like to say that I'm surprised at some of the DUers about the Kerry comment. BUT I'm not.

We do this all the time.... We can be a panicky group over the stupidest little things.

Will Kerrys flubbed joke switch votes? LOL

We're expected to pick up at least 30 seats in the House and close to 5 in the Senate.

Now why are we looking so good for this election?

THE WAR

All the spinning from Bush--Rove and the media can't possibly change how people feel about this war.

Attacking a decorated war vet..... Sorry--won't work. Attacking Pelosi....Sorry, won't work... Saying the Dems will raise taxes...sorry, won't work..... Saying that Osama wants the Dems to win...sorry, won't work. Sliding down a well oiled dance poll....

They're out of bullets and that's why Dick Cheney's got a shredder coming to his house. He knows it's over....

So calm down my fellow DUers... and get ready to celebrate.

2. Don't forget the fire at the NSA, Fort Meade, MD...
fire is even more effective than shredding at destroying evidence of snooping, spying, dirty tricks, lies, murders, thefts, etc., etc.

3. I agree. NO ONE is going to change how they vote
because of this Kerry joke. IRAQ IS THE ISSUE, NOT JOHN KERRY.

4. Right.
Let's step out of the frame and look at this objectively: if the republicans' are counting on their ability to manipulate the media, to distort a John Kerry joke, to turn the tide in the mid-term elections, then they do not have much to go on. If they want to focus on Iraq in the final week, let's do it.

5. I'm Still Trying To Figure Out What We Lost??
Let's see...did we lose the angry white christian/yellow ribbon crowd?

Did we lose the people disenchanted by this ugly invasion and its incompetence? Anyone who did use Kerry's remarks as a judge for their vote wasn't with us in the first place...good riddence.

So where's the damage? Especially this close to an election?

Well, there could be those Democrats who hide their heads in the sand with this latest RNC game and figure the election is now lost (combined with the rigged voting machines) and that why bother to vote at all? If this is you, do us all a favor and stay at home. But if you're seeing right through this ruse, stand up and work even harder to send our own WMD up the Repugnicans butt next Tuesday.

7. Just say "no" to relaxing.
Wait until the 8th before you think about that. Even then, Iraq will be a quagmire. Nothing changes until the incoming class of representatives is sworn in. Exit polls mean nothing.

8. Kerry should be a wake-up call to work harder... if one man can almost
screw it up...

Think what one person working positively can do!
