Use this thread to tell us what you are doing to help get Democrats elected.

I'm looking for some good ideas.

I've been contributing money to Democratic candidates in close races, as well as using the call for change list to contact potential Democratic voters.

1. Working on Election day, making calls, giving rides, etc.

Also have given more money than I should have.

2. I am sending an e-mail to all of my semi-political friends to remind them to vote

These are people that I know are on our side, but some of them have missed an election or two. They need to be reminded to vote. Some of them live in states with competitive races, a few do not.

3. Volunteering as Dem precinct captain to rally volunteers to make calls

to known Dems who haven't shownup at the polls by 2 or 3. Also canvassed and will be doing door-to-door "lit drops" starting Saturday. Plus phone banking between now and Monday.

6. One person who said he wasn't going to vote told me my video

changed his mind. And to me that made the project worthwhile. So far, my video has reached a lot of people. It's 89th highest rated for the week in the people category on YouTube.
