How can you "seriously consider" something that doesn't exist? |
|
Tony Snow just said the administration seriously considered the plans on Iraq offered by some Dems while almost in the breath before said the Democrats had no plans. Now he says there are no "plans for winning in Iraq." WTF? How can a plan be a gurantee win? And most of all, what the hell is the WH Press Corps doing? Are they all really stupid or just plain afraid to ask the next logical questions?

I think the press is recognizing the numerous strawmen being offered up, though. They know it's a waste of time.
What really caught my attention was Snow's "I'll be happy to have that debate". Since when does the White House Spokesperson DEBATE??? The job has always been to express the views of the President...NOT to debate for the President!

2. Tony Snow is confused. |

That is the most polite way I can explain it.
The tip off was when he called Helen Thomas' question regarding the Israel-Lebanon conflict the "Hezbollah" viewpoint.
Or, you could say he's an ass.
