so i un-volunteered for byrd's reelection campaign
i've given the man leeway on alot of things like the bankruptcy bill-out of respect for his service fighting the iraq war.

but this is the last straw. i really don't have the passion towork for him. i'll still vote for him, because his likely opponent is a local rw media titan and a total nutjob, but i have to take a stand somehow.

2. He only cares for your vote. It'll prove he can do anything and you will
comply.

Don't comply.

Don't vote for him.

Do a write-in, leave it blank, do third party. Whatever. Even do an "R" if that candidate appeals to you more (don't prejudge on what may or may not happen), but do not vote for Byrd.

Show them they will have to change to retain our voting of them.

And the work they will have to do will be considerably harder.

6. Byrd is a 50%er
He votes with the Democrats 50% of the time, and with BushCo 50% of the time. He represents the middle of the Democratic Party, unfortunately.

9. Kind of a short-sighted answer, innit?
We have a third party here in WV. The Mountain Party may not be all that electable, but I support Ad's right to refuse to tolerate any more cronyism and Senators content in being a "50-percenter".

the lay of the land better than I.

Do you think he can be replaced with a Dem?
