My point is: Not all troops support Bush, Not all troops support Kerry. Support is a non-issue because they swore an oath
to serve this Country, it's Constitution and the people who live under it's laws. To criticize ANY of those troops, is wrong. Be critical of the lawmakers and the Administration, as i said previously, but not the men and women serving YOU.

Little history lesson. The general consensus of President Clinton from the AD military was disdain, disrespect, not much hatred, just a lot of head shaking. However, to the person that sat in the chair of THEIR Commander in Chief, duty, honor, country. I really think that some people need to realize that the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and airmen can distinguish the man from the office. What Kerry said monday is being taken (after talking to numerous retired and AD folks) as a blatant insult to them.

Yell, scream, jump up and down and deny it all you want, but he did a whole lot of damage to any relationship that he had with the military, and whatever goodwill the democratic party had with the military. He blew it when he did not apologize right away, because I for one had never heard that "joke " that was supposedly botched.
