I never heard one. If he did, he didn't apologize enough. He should apologize every day for the rest of his life for that one. I will never forget it.

4. Of course he didn't. Nor did rumsfalied for "troops are fungible"
Nor has bush apologized for cutting returning troops' benefits, for lack of body aromor, for trying to cut their combat pay while in combat...

Not to even mention for having lied them to an illegal Nuremberg Tribunal "supreme crime" invasion.

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I have to get it out. I was really sickened by Pat Robertson's attack on JK. Maybe these people have short term memory loss, as I know he was there. I know I was, age 64 I knew had many friends that were in Nam, and even though I was not, served59-62 I got many story's that although anecdotal, I'm sure were true. What JK did was tell the truth, many of our guys over there cracked as many today have. Think of it people 60,000 killed, hereon cheap as dirt,a deadly combination, to be sure. Many times they were told to shoot on sight, kill everyone. Does this mean that they were dishonorable, absolutely not. The strain of war will change a person forever, no getting around it. I will bet you this, if and when it is over, the solders coming back will have many story's of humanity and helping the Iraqis, and them helping our guys. In the mix will be true story's of brutality, it can't be helped. I just wish someone somewhere on TV would smack one of these talking heads bashing a vet. or not.
