McCaskill opposes Alito nomination
McCaskill and Talent have differed on the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito to the U.S. Supreme Court. McCaskill opposes the nomination; Talent favors it.

4. We're talking Missouri here...
...opposing the nomination is good enough for now. Heck, she's not even in the Senate yet. But hearing this makes me more willing to work to get her there.

2. Go, Claire.
Hopefully she'll kick Talent's ass in November. We need a (D) senator from Missouri. :bounce:

3. It's unfortunate for us that Claire has not yet
been elected to the Senate...........maybe her opposition to the alito nomination can be enforced retroactively!

I can dream, can't I?

5. She would vote "NO" but not support a filibuster, according to Kos
but if she were actually in the Senate--who knows for sure.
