Everyone else is doing it so why not... Don't worry my threads sink to the bottom fast....
What bothers me is that nobody is talking about the content of what Kerry said, they are just framing this as a gaffe (how often is that word normally used conversation?) and wondering how he could have misspoke.
Obviously, Republicans have high paid operatives intent on framing this the way THEY want it framed.
This is how it should be discussed. First, Bush is intellectually undisciplined... everyone in America should realize that. Second, even if somebody feels Kerry meant what he said, why not discuss it.
Talk about the subject, not the teacher of the subject. This is very important. Only Republican operatives want us to misfocus.
When you want to learn math, study math, not the teacher. Stay focused on the subject.
Meanwhile Republican operatives are trying to pervert the news the same way they pervert congressional pages. Not much we can do about that but stay focused on what we can to gain control of our country.

4. Why doesn't our own party have its own highly paid operatives? |

We're never going to be a winning party until we have some machinery in place to match what the Repugs have. How long are we going to continue to be surprised when something like this happens?
