Relive the history of the "war on terror" via "Get Your War On"

This is an eye-opening re-read, for me at least. A lot of us followed the perceptive and prescient David Rees clip-art comic strip through the years since the beginning of what was (now obviously euphemistically) known as "Operation Enduring Freedom".

Now it is somewhere beyond unsettling to revisit the history, the clues we all possessed, the way we knew this would turn out under Bush and the "Freedom Fries" Republicans, and the way it has turned out for the worse, has turned into disaster, not in spite of but largely because of the delusional, bloviating right wing of the ruling class in government and media:
