Another Reason To Filibuster
Let's not forget the timing of this Filibuster possibility. Should they decide to Filibuster late Monday afternoon, that will be the only thing the media reports on that evening and the next day(Tuesday). Which is coincidentally the date of King Shrub's State Of Disunion speech.

It will totally distract from the speech, and also take a significant amount of wind from his sails. Is there ANY DOUBT that he plans to make mention of alito's appointment in the speech, assuming it happens on Tuesday?

Anyways, I suppose it's but a dream, but one can hope. Should the Dems pull it off, and without much warning, it will definitely detract focus from the King's LIES on Tuesday night. It might even get me to watch his speech.

3. Not to mention
that it will screw up shrubs speech. Don't you know he has 5 minutes of BS written in the SOTU about the wonders of Alito.

6. Would he even be able to give the speech? If there's a filibuster,
and it goes past Tuesday night, they won't stop the filibuster just for Fuckstick's speech will they?

Don't they need to continue the filibuster as long as it takes to shut everything down and get the repukes to take Alito out of the running?

8. I have no idea - but since the speech comes from the senate chamber,
and they'd be filibustering in the senate chamber...

If a filibuster would pre-empt the world's leading criminal from giving his SOTU address, that's even more reason to filibuster!

9. If True....That Only Increases The Gambit
The repubs would undoubtedly try to pull their crap with the nuclear option, which would be the focus of attention on Tuesday. If it actually caused a problem with the SOTU, that would be absolutely amazing. Then there would be a real war, and the fireworks would be well worth the price of admission.

Well.....we can dream that the dems know something we don't.
