I'm sure the RW wargasmists will love this. After all, it's always nice to see troops taking time from doing their job in Iraq to pull these stupid little stunts. No wonder we're getting our ass kicked over there.

The sad thing is, Kerry is actually right. The vast majority of people going into the military are going in because they really don't have many other options. There are a small handful of gung-ho Rambo types, and some who come from military families who want to continue the tradition. But by and large, the military is made up of people from disadvantaged neighborhoods, minority groups, and those who can't afford college education but don't want to work at McDonalds.
