Tester leading Burns 58-37 in early voting in MT
According to a poll--remember this is a democratic poll, but it's worth posting.

Over 56,000 people have participated in early voting and Tester is leading among those polled 58-37.

2. I so want to believe...
...this poll because Burns has been horrible for us disabled veterans. But I don't know if I can believe polls done by the candidates.

4. Uhm ... because maggots are drawn to rotting corpses?
I hope Burns gets buried by Tester. I despise him for that comment to the firefighters.

5. Why hasn't the vote counting started yet?
Why are they waiting till election day to count them?

6. Standard Operating Procedure
at least in Illinois. Many other states as well, I suspect.

8. For the same reason only those who see a lead announce early returns.
The sheeple are inclined to regard a 'vote' not as a preference but as a prediction - the brain-dead inclination to be on the 'winning side.' Called the 'bandwagon effect' or lemmings-on-parade, it's one of the more disgusting behaviors of (sub)human beings.

7. I'd love to believe that.
But I didn't think they could count the votes for early voting yet. I'm pretty sure they don't.

10. I think they're polling people, asking them if they've voted yet and
for whom, and then extrapolating the results...

It's not an official announcement of actual early votes, but a polling firm's attempt to estimate actual early votes

12. There are only about 600,000 registered voters in MT
Almost 10% already voting?

14. YES! YES! YES!
I knew Tester would pull this off. He seems so bright and intelligent compared to Conrad.....Uh, wasn't the idiot in Montana today or yesterday? One of the so-called big gun repukes was there. Looks like it worked wonders.

Go TESTER!
