I'm all aglow at the prospect.

CWA Experts Available to Provide Commentary Throughout Election Night
Contact: Stacey Holliday, Concerned Women for America, 202-488-7000 ext. 126

WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 /Christian Newswire/ -- On November 7-8, Concerned Women for America (CWA) experts will be readily available throughout the day and into the early hours of the morning to provide invaluable commentary and analysis on the congressional election. We will be here to provide you with news of key ballot initiatives and federal races all over America. CWA’s Web site (www.cwfa.org) will include articles, interviews and analysis – a key resource for media and concerned citizens who want to know what’s really happening during Election night.

“This election will be pivotal in determining the outcome on all the issues that are important to conservative Christians,” said Dr. Janice Crouse, Senior Fellow of CWA’s Beverly LaHaye Institute. “It is really all about whether a Judeo-Christian worldview will continue to drive American policies. How Values Voters behave at the polls will once again determine the future of America.”

CWA President Wendy Wright said, “More attention is focused on this mid-term election than perhaps any other in American history. Ballot measures on marriage, abortion, cloning and eminent domain will certainly drive people to the polls and influence who they elect as their representatives. While this election will steer the direction of America for the next two years, it may have its greatest impact on how it will impact Americans for the 2008 election.”

“Regardless of what happens on Election Day, pro-family Americans are going to want to know the role they will play in the next Congress,” said Mike Mears, CWALAC’s Director of State Legislative Relations. “You can be sure that Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee will be there to lead the charge and help conservatives navigate the way.”

Contact Stacey Holliday at 202.488.7000, extension 126, to set up an interview with a CWA expert.

1. Since CWA are all "good Christian women"...
They should follow the rule handed down by St. Paul and shut up, go home, and do the housework! How DARE they try to tell a man what he can and can not do?!

:sarcasm:

6. Don't you know?
They only force the rules upon the rest of us, they don't have to follow them, silly Bear! :eyes:

8. I've enjoyed pointing out to my conservative friends
That if Phyllis Schaffly (sp?) had followed her own advice and stayed home instead of having a career outside the home (trying to stop other women from having a career) then maybe her son wouldn't have turned out gay. :sarcasm:

She should either be looked upon as a bad parent by conservatives (as well Randall Terry, Dick Cheney, Alan Keyes, my Uncle Leroy) for not raising her child right and letting him be gay, or homosexuality is a genetic thing. They don't like having to pick between those choices.

7. I don't know about that
Hell, Batshit Crazy Bob Dornan was on some program or other earlier this week. All the vilest Republican crazy aunts and uncles are slithering out of the woodwork, because when you're a Republican, there's nothing you can say or do that makes you persona non grata in the major media. Dornan's execrable public record and string of embarrassing personal episodes all go by the wayside when the media want to put a microphone in front of him.

So I imagine the CWA will have some producer call them for "commentary."

9. Funny you should mention Dornan.
Way back when, his brother was my history teacher. If I don't say so myself, I was his star student. And he was a great history teacher. And I love american history to this day.

He came to our class once - this was in the 1970s - when he first started campaigning. You know how sometimes a moment will just stick in your mind?? That one did. He said - this is from long ago memories - that he was a fighter pilot. And I was young, but I stood up and said, "Oh, yeah - my Dad was a fighter pilot too." So, eyes engaged and he talked to me - and he asked about where did dad fly, that he flew F-86s and things like that. And I said.."My dad flew jugs against real German pilots - that he flew for FDR - and if you are a republican you better stay far away from my house - he was a REAL fighter pilot and I don't think you are."

You jogged a good memory for me - thanks,

JOe
