With the President calling a phone in talk radio show. Does this make the first
time a sitting President has called a talk radio show? Looks like all is well in Corporate America, if you have time to call talk radio from the White House or Air Force one. Looking for some help from Historians on this one.
I have seen interviews and speeches from sitting Presidents, but don't recall one having time to call talk radio.

3. How far back are you going to go?
I would imagine in the golden age of radio Presidents would appear on news programs - same as they would now appear on televised press conferences.

But of course that's different than going on Rush's show - because of the intensely partisan nature of his show.

4. Bill Clinton called up somebody once
I can't remember specifics but the radio host must have been talking crap because I remember Bill Clinton calling this station up and much like he told off Chris Wallace, he told that station they were full of shit.

8. He called Amy Goodman once
and got into a nasty fight with her. Actually, she wasn't fighting, but he got very angry and called her something like "young lady." It was quite a spectacle. It was just before Election 2000 and he was trying to rally progressives via talk radio to vote for Gore.

9. He called up Imus -
and spoke intelligently on a policy issue, I think it was a tax thing. And it wasn't during campaign season either.

12. The show I heard him on, actually a news replay of it....
....seemed like a morning talk show. The actual audio was played and the video was in the studio. Wasn't Imus I'm sure of that and of course he didn't say "full of shit" but he did point out that he was listening to their show, they were lying about him, and that their station wouldn't give him and other democrats equal time. Sorry I can't be more specific or helpful. It was a good call.

13. I think it is hysterical -
I heard part of the B*sh on Rush interview.

I think it is a dirty little secret - I think - that I bet half of R*sh listeners (and I listen to him on my way to work) Listen because they think he is such a baboon - the guy is funny (not that he means to be). Anybody that full of himself is funny.

I think it says a lot that B*sh stooped that low - guess the other talk shows won't have him.

just how deep the BS would get...It was very obvious that all the questions Slimebaugh was asking were certainly prearranged..It was just so phony...

19. Bush's phone call to Rush should put to rest concern about "The Math"
Rove's arrogant declaration that he knows for certain they will win took a kick in the nads with *'s call to PigBoy. They are still desperate to find some way to fire up the knuckledraggers who are embarrassed to vote for a Repuke but won't vote for a Dem.
