7. Gosh, if only Bush had something to say or do about it
Why, we'd have that whole thing in Iraq licked into shape in no time! But the Democrats are using their irrelevant status to botch everything up.

13. We are some devious fuckers, aren't we?
I know this guy had to be dumb enough to allow himself to be the lackey for the real string pullers behind the scenes, but they have to be thinking at this point; "Damn. This guy makes Crisco look smart."

10. Win What In Iraq? I Thought Mission Was Accomplished!
Isn't that what Silverspoon said?

Wasn't that the banner when he played soldier on that aircraft carrier?

How can we not win what he said we already won?
The Professor

12. Anybody remember the movie "War Games?"
Toward the end of the film, the computer, "Joshua," said something like, "A strange game, this. The only winning move is not to play."

If the Bush regime had been at all interested in listening to anyone but themselves and their corporate buddies, they would have heard plenty of warning about the likely results ofg invading and occupying Iraq. Now they act as though we are the ones who are required to get them out of this mess. Too bad they are not the ones paying the price for their corruption and stupidity. :grr:

14. I keep thinking about what I heard him say earlier in the week
I'm sure these aren't the exact words, but it went something like: The democrats' aim is to get out of Iraq; the republicans' aim is to win in Iraq. And I keep asking, win what? The hearts and minds of the Iraqis? Too late. WIN WHAT?

It's probably just like Nixon's "secret plan" for getting out of Vietnam... I think Kissinger was in on that one too.
