2. They have
Clarke, Powell, Kuo and many others have done so.

Only they don't get as much attention as the Fox news experts

4. Andrew Card was on Tweety this afternoon.
And he made Junior sound like the neatest guy ever. Voracious reader, interesting guy who loves Africa and loves this country ever so much, and who will remain very involved after he leaves office.

Sheesh. I sure don't recognize that guy.

5. I think you'll see many people come forward with books
and interviews after these goons are out of office. You can't blame people for being scared for their lives with this bunch of criminals.

:bounce:

8. when the bolsheviks murdered the russian royal family
in 1917, despite his having abdicated and cooperated with them, an extremist clique around lenin went ahead and arranged the murder of nicholas, his wife, his son (the next tsar) and 4 beautiful daughters, plus a few retainers....the horror was done secretly, in the middle of the night, with royalist forces not far away. the simple fact was that the russian people still loved the tsar (and his kids even moreso)....only by bringing in hired thugs, who even then needed to get stoned drunk to do the murders, were the brutes around lenin able to get it done....and for a long time after the deed, they denied doing it, until it leaked out that they had...trotsky was not part of the clique, though he was in charge of the red armies. when sverdlov (whom the town where it happened later was named after - today it has its old name ekatrianburg) who was one of lenin's main men, told trotsky about the murders, trotsky was taken aback, but immediately recovered to say "perhaps it's for the best: it gives those who are less then dedicated to the cause a reason not to waver, they must join us to press on to total victory, or total ruin"
So much of what the bush criminals have done, and this includes 911 itself (which probably astonished bush and cheney etc, in terms of its magnitude) seems predicated on the idea that the rightwingers are, with every passing day, trapped deeper in the mess! they have no choice but to go along with bush, imo....
trotsky etc were doing what they were doing for an idea, that humanity could share the world's wealth, w/out anyone being forced into poverty, or its alternatives, crime, prostitution and so on. The men behind bush, otoh, are doing it for plain greed, racism, resentment(?) or maybe for fun
