For the Filibuster, they should read "It Can't Happen Here"
by Sinclair Lewis out loud...maybe a fiction will hit home - instead of repeating all of this administrations crimes...or maybe both, read and point out what is happening here at the end of each chapter...

5. Not exactly the same thing
The original book by Sinclair Lewis was about a fascist named Berzelius Windrip who became the fascist dictator of the USA after the 1936 election.

The closest equivalent from Zappa is probably "Concentration Moon". The liner notes on it are eerily prescient, discussing the evil reign of a future President Reagan -- in 1968!

6. I know
I'm just funning around, that's all.

And thanks for the 'Concentration Moon' cite.

I tried to read Lewis once. I think it was "That Hideous Strength" or something like that.

I remember being repulsed by the book and never finished it.
