My apologies for the "Is Bush Gay" thread.

I'm genuinely sorry I posted it. I haven't been participating much in the Foley threads or the NJ threads, and I didn't realize that many of our GLBT friends (and their friends, among whom I count myself) would read it as an indictment of gay people by association. Not my best moment on DU. Truly, I'm sorry if anyone was hurt by it, and I'll try to be more thoughtful in the future.
