Could Congress declare this election invalid then stay in power? They use e-fraud issues
Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 09:27 PM by cyberpj
to claim widespread problems that invalidate results then they retain congressional seats until they say it's ok?

Seems entirely possible to me that Bush Republicans are ready to use this in their favor now that it's become exposed.

We now know Bush has obtained the right to declare martial law if necessary.
Are there existing laws that would allow him to retain his favorite congress?

It's so Bush I can almost feel confident in predicting it.

13. Jefferson Was In Favor Of Paper Trails, Madison Wasn't
Claim it is one thing, prove it is another. Supposedly an Executive order is all asshat needs to play dictator, but going to that extreme doesn't make political sense.

With a Democratic House and/or Senate, the GOOP can once again play victim. They'll demonize the leadership and use that to reunite the party. It also gives the corporate media a new foil. Instead of the Democrats having no ideas, it'll be they have too many or are obstructionists and use the victim card that worked so well in the past.

Booosh looks to come out of this election a big lame duck. He's worked himself into a box that martial law won't even get him out of.

Also, this Military Times story is BIIIIIIIIIG. This is close to an open revolt within the military. Whose is booosh gonna impose martial law with?
