2. Not the case here...
I spent most you yesterday afternoon checking our GOTV lists against the absentee ballot lists from the Clerk's office...

guess what...absentee ballots were overwhelmingly Repub....I think the Protection of Marriage :puke: amendment is driving the absentee movement...although we put our folks on the streets with absentee apps for over a month it wasn't too successful....

Of course, we're in an area that has some heavy red neighborhoods....so maybe it's just those precincts.....

3. I'm amazed how close Doolittle/Brown looks to be
Back in the spring nobody expected that Doolittle would even have to campaign and now he just might *crosses fingers* lose his seat.

What's the latest on the Pombo race? I haven't heard so much about that one.

McNerney may just pull this one out. :bounce:

I'll be in Brown's district all weekend. Come on up and help out if you can.

4. Voting absentee or advance ballot lets you study up on the internet
before filling in all of those little ovals.

Not just concerning congressional candidates, but about all of those judges too.

7. Good news
I hope both ride the Democratic wave to victory. Pombo and Doolittle are two of the most corrupt out there. I've been walking for both of Dem campaigns. Both have great grass roots support and have a chance to win.

11. i've canvassed for Durston here in the 3rd, love the guy and i hope he can
unseat Lungren the rubber stamp, he voted against stem cell and his floor speech was more appalling than his vote, he used his own ill nephew to make a point "My nephew told me, Uncle Dan i don't want a baby to die so i can be cured" or something real close to that, i almost through a glass through the tv.

14. Two counties - two different responses
In my county, leans Dem, ballots are way up. In another county, that leans right, the ballots are trickling in.

Hmmmm. Let's hope that's a national trend.
