I'm watching the Candy Crowley edition of "Broken Government" right now. The one called "Two Left Feet" which explores why Democrats have been unable to win in rural areas.

What I'm getting from it is a lot of bullshit. Why don't they vote for Democrats? Because Democrats "don't identify". John Kerry "looks elitist". Al Gore is "stiff". Democrats don't share their "values". All this empty BULLSHIT based on nothing but IMAGE. Abso-fucking-lutely zero substance. No real issues like health care, education, support for the middle class. Just empty rhetorical image driven BULLSHIT.

They fall for idiotic GOP soundbite tricks. They believe lies told to them by GOP smear ads. They're intolerant of gay people and want to ban abortion. They don't understand the very founding of the country requires a separation of church and state. They say they don't vote Democrat because Democrats don't respect their stupidity. That's what I'm seeing here. "Respect my stupidity".

So this country was founded on how you look..damn how in the devil did we ever get a Constitution drawn up.. One look at Ben Franklin and people today, according to their preferences, would run a mile.
