How many of those are running for US Congress this year?
MN-5 candidate Alan Fine was arrested for allegedly beating his wife of the time (they divorced soon after.)
PA-10 candidate Congressman Donald L. Sherwood paid half-a-million dollars settlement to his mistress after allegedly choking her.
NY-20 candidate Congressman John Sweeney's wife called police because he was "knocking her around."
VA candidate Senator George Allen is accused by his sister of dangling her over the railing at Niagra Falls.

legislator was busted a few month back for spousal abuse. The abusive Repo will lose, fortunatly.
I think this election is shaping up to be referendum on values.....
