Am I the only one who feels incredible positive momentum right now?
Edited on Sat Nov-04-06 12:41 AM by Quixote1818
I can't explain it but I can almost feel this powerful energy building all over the country swinging the momentum in our direction big time! It just feels like our side is now energized and the other side is fizzling.

Anyone else feel this?

2. Yes, but I am too nervous to think about it
I have a cautiously optimistic feeling, though after 2004, I am not going to count my chickens...

4. Yeah, but just wait. One of the "WE'RE DOOMED" contingent will appear
momentarily, and we will be informed that WE'RE DOOMED because of the voting machines or Kerry's lame joke or Karl Rove's evil genius or the Saddam Hussein verdict or a tape from Osama, or whatever. But I'm optimistic. I think the karma is biting the Repubs in the ass and things will turn around. So, doomsayers, I cordially invite you to bugger off.

5. Yes, but be careful
I was ebullient working on the ground in FLA in 2004 and look what happened.

Let's not count our chickens before they've hatched.

7. I feel it, too, but 2004 has scarred me for life
I feel like the guy who got burned by the love of his life and is about to commit to a new relationship but is too scared.

Terrible metaphor, but I the disappointment that I felt the day after Kerry lost was severed and scarring.

I think that if things go the way I feel that they are going to go on Tuesday, a large part of me will feel like I have found the America that I thought I had permanently lost in November of 2004. Back then, I felt like I was living in an alternate universe, where my sense of righteousness and good was seen as the opposite by a majority of America. I felt like an outsider looking in and really not wanting any part of "in." I just hope to welcome back my country on November 7th. It really feels like it is going to happen, and it feels exhilarating.

8. I feel like someone would after an earthquake by the sea, and then
watching the sea slowly recede - you KNOW the tidal wave is coming. You just know it.

10. No, but we have to be prepared for anything b/c of these damn machines
There's not only the problem of malfeasence, but also mass malfunctioning. We could end up looking like a damn banana republic Wedenesday.

11. I think the Republicans will be contesting every Democratic win.
This is the Syndicate we are talking about. They aren't motivated to win because they believe in their political philosophy so strongly. They are fighting to stay out of prison.
