Your own personal GOTV effort |

Don't forget the easiest and most effective Get-Out-The-Vote strategy. Simply talk to your friends, relatives, co-workers - anyone who doesn't seem like they're drinking the kool-aid - and make sure they're planning to vote. If they're not, explain to them that this is a Really Big One. If they don't know where or how to vote, go to your Secretary of State's website and get that information for them.
High turnout favors Dems, low turnout favors Republicans. If every single progressive can get just one shy voter to the polls, Karl Rove and his much-vaunted high-tech GOTV machine will be utterly overwhelmed.

Was talking with my younger sister last night who for whatever reasons seems to continue to vote Republican out of habit as that is how my family has always voted.
As we were signing off, reminded her to vote on Tuesday - and she ASKED me who to vote for as she hadn't been paying attention. :wow:
I told her straight D if she doesn't want her sons drafted for Iraq/Iran. That message will get her to the polls.
