"...campaign is the worst I've ever seen..."
our chimney sweep guy is here, got talking poltics via cost of oil, economy

Chimneysweep said "yeah, alot of people have switched to wood as a supplement to heating. I won't be surprised when the gas prices spike on wednesday."

from there it went to the campaign in general

Chimneysweep guy "this is the worse campaign season I've ever seen. All these attack ads - and the republicans are really scraping the bottom of the barrel."

on voting he said "You know, I try to vote for the person running, not the party. if you looked at my voting patterns - it's all over the place. But this year - it's gonna be for all the Democrats, I don't care if they are qualified or not - we need a change."

1. GOP Gov nominee here in Mass is running the most vile one I've seen
in these parts. From day one it's been a subtle nad not so subtle racial attack on Deval Patrick.

Kerry Healey is dirt.

4. My parents have used wood forever.... Oil heater too expensive
and electric too expensive(and smelled funny when we turned it on). Anyway, when the power went out, we still had heat, cooking element, and a day off of school.

7. I told my husband the same thing.
He noticed the gas prices going down as we were on our way to work. i told him about the mid-term elections that are coming up. I then told him not to be surprised when the gas prices go back up after the election.
