Ask her if she can vote for the party of a person who would make a joke about THAT. Ask her if she can vote for the party of someone who said "Bring 'em on," which has literally put our soldiers in danger.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think that she will get it even after the Hitchens/Sullivan and this video. I really just don't like my sister anymore. It will be a long time before we ever talk again after the fight we had this am. Here it the video.

The way Sullivan goes after Bush is incredible. He absolutely lays into him.

And Hitch is much the same, and is very, very strong in his condemnation of W over the Kerry gaffe.

8. It's over

I can't stand her anymore. I just sent her an email stating just that. I sent her the Hitchens and Sullivan clip. I would love to send her the video where is shows 0 died for Kerry's joke, and how many have died for Bush's joke but I can't find it, even on youtube. I don't want to speak to her anymore, seriously. I know that some will tell me that I shouldn't let politics get in the way of family relationships, but I have had it over this. She didn't even try to hear what I was saying because of her hate for Kerry.

10. Does she truly believe

that one person saying something in the party represents the entire party? If so then she does not understand the difference in the parties. They are so in lock step that they can't even imagine a party of thinkers who are not all just alike and who will use every idea to form a policy. Too bad.

Sorry, it must hurt to be at such odds with your sister.

11. Yes, she lives

on right-wing talk radio. My phone conversation with my dad didn't go as bad, but it was still bad. He was harping on the democrats being hypocrits by going after Foley - the conversation went real bad after that. We won't get together until Christmas, if I go at all.
