Rank Senate pick up's for Dems as most likely to least likely

Most Likely Dem pick up's in order of which I think is most likely:
1. Pennsylvania (Santorum has been running behind Casey for more than a year--bye, bye Ricky)
2. Ohio (The State GOP is very unpopular--Brown by 12)
3. Montana (The GOP talks of Burns making a comeback, but Tester is a great candidate who connects with every day Montana folks)
4. Rhode Island--The only reason this is not ranked higher is because Chafee is personally popular and if enough Indies vote he could win, but a Democratic year would probably mean Whitehouse wins.
5. Virginia--Allen ran the worst campaign of the season and unlike TN the voters of VA seem disgusted by this racist.
6. Missouri--there is talk of Talent coming on strong in the last days, but most polls show this race dead even. It will come down to gotv.
7. Arizona--Every wave campaign has a surprise and I'm thinking that Pederson of AZ might upset Kyl.
8. Tennessee--I had high hopes for this race, but most national polls are showing Corker up 8-10 points. Ford's private polls say it's tighter. I hope I'm wrong.

Unlike others I do think that the GOP does have a couple of opportunities--I'm not saying in a heavily democratic year that I think they will win them, but I wouldn't be surprised:
1. Maryland--Most Republicans and some polls (Survey USA) show this to be a dead heat. AA enthusiasm for Cardin isn't strong and if turnout among AA is not at solid numbers, Steele might take it.

2. New Jersey--I feel better about this race, but if people are truly fed up with corruption--Menendez could be upset.

If either of these two go to the GOP my guess is that it would be Maryland. But I think they have a less than 50% chance of winning either.

Steele is the phoniest POS to hit politics in a long time! He'll say anything to get elected. I hope my fellow Marylanders aren't stupid enough to fall for his crap.

2. The only thing...

The only thing I would say is switch Rhode Island and Montana's places. Because as Burns has been gaining a little ground in Montana over the last few weeks, Chafee has only been losing it even more. I recall seeing a poll showing Chaffee behind 10 points in the last week. The fursthest Burns has been was 4.

MD and NJ are safe. CT is sad because Lieberman will caucus with the GOP.

Maryland voters need to be reminded that Steele is a lot like associate justice thomas.
Many in the African-American community rallied around thomas and look what it got them. A guy who continually works to undermine affirmative action.
