Visioning success - Tuesday and beyond....

End of day Tuesday, Democrats everywhere can get a good night's sleep - all of the GOTV efforts are well worth the effort. Perhaps a millisecond of gloating, but more about a feeling of relief, of thankfulness - of gratitude for the effort that paid off - for the country. for our citizens.

Beyond Tuesday - Democrats everywhere start to get the sense that the world of Bizarro can finally fade, and things START to make sense again - but not completely (we couldn't change the Pres and VP). Nancy Pelosi can turn her attention to fixing things = we think of katrina victims, we think of the troops - we become the party of solutions, of progress.

We voted today. Tuesday won't fix everything - in fact, it will provide just the start of the opportunity to fix things. But it will be a start.
