Tell the truth and be forever branded RE: Walter Cronkite
Personally, I never thought of Cronkite as a "Commie", but then I remembered his criticism of the Vietnam war, so I can understand how some folks might come to that conclusion. :eyes: :sarcasm:

I am absolutely amazed at how "lock-stepped" some conservatives are. I always had the deepest respect for Cronkite.

And being the main reason the American public thought the Tet Offensive was a massive defeat for the United States.
Criminally immoral, viciously treasonous, nearly unforgivable.

Ah, yes.
He will surely go down in history alongside Benedict Arnold, the Rosenbergs and Vidkun Quisling----as soon as the lefty media-academic axis he helped create has been consigned to the dustbin along with Hitlerism, Communism, and Islamic Fascism.
Who knows, in a thousand years "cronkite" may be a generic verb for "betray by persuasion."

2. wow
Looks like you've stumbled into some seedy back alley of conservatism. Personally, I don't want to see how deep the rabbit hole goes ;)

I'm sure you can find some people that believe the earth is flat at Free Republic if you search hard enough.

5. Search "hard" enough?
Hell, you don't have to search at all. These fundie right-wing nutjobs believe science is evil, therefore the earth is flat, stem cell research is "murder", bla-bla-bla.

Too bad they don't reject ALL of modern science...starting with their computers and internet connections.
