3. They've already abandoned Dewine and Santorum
So I think yes, internals are bad for them and they're only focusing time and money where they have a chance.

6. Let me tell ya a little story about the GOP spin in my district
In September in PA-04 Jason Altmire (D-challenger) released internal polling data showing him within 4 points of Melissa Hart (R-Bushbot/Female Santorum). The Hart campaign claimed that their internal polling showed she had a "double-digit" lead over Altmire.

Well, an independent polling company came in and, whoa, it revealed a 4 point race within the MOE of 4.9. The Hart campaign "released" their poll RESULTS showing her lead but REFUSED to release the data behind it.

Suddenly the NRCC poured $200,000 into PA-04. The DCCC soon followed/as did move-on.org

7. You're discounting the possibility that he's totally delusional
A real man like * don't pay no attention to polls done by people up in New York. He knows whats right and operates by his gut, he's told us that plenty of times before. And what's more he doesn't care what the results are - if the ol' gut tells him it was right then by god it was right.

No matter how you try to euphemize it - these are the actions of someone who is totally fuckin batshit nuts.
