Six years ago I could not accept that the GOP would turn it's machine on a war hero, then a candidate for the Republican nomination for President, John McCain. I mused that he would prevail over what I had thought was an obvious poor choice in a candidate in George W. Bush. Well, while my musings were wrong, but I was not wrong about the greed, and the "Blue Bloods" mental idea that they know what is best for the rest of us working types. Perhaps there was an indication of what we were to realise from the administration in our Presidents own words to a graduating class at which he was a speaker at Yale University. To paraphrase that even "C" student Yale graduates can become President of the United States........Well the flaw in that is that not only should we seek the very best for high office, must also be aware that a weak leader may surround himself with "yes" men compounding the less than mediocre talent of their boss. Is it time in view of the dangers facing our beloved country that we require psychological examination of candidates for high office? They are touting the economy as their proof of Republican "values"? Most families I have contact with are working two, or three part time jobs to keep the roof over their heads. The prescription benefits for Medicare recipients is changing as of January 1, 2007. Guess what folks the max anyone can get out of a plan is $2400.00 for the entire year, then you are 100% on your own! AHHHh "the lord giveith, and the lord takeith away". Does "big oil" have any control over how much , and how fast it refines crude? Think that has an effect on supply, and therefore price? Is it coincidence that they are about to end Saddam's trial now? DON'T BE FOOLED. I am now a Democrat, and I say throw the bums out. Every last one.
this is in or around ALBANY AREA

Even my republican boss and co-workers see the wisdom of getting rid of the neocons. I told them to vote Dem if they want to get the republican party back. It made sense to them.
