At least that is the way I recall it being set up - the number of votes required for cloture being three-fifths, or sixty of the current one hundred senators.

There is no required number for continuing debate and rejecting Cloture.

The 52 Republicans with statements supporting closure added Olympia Snowe today, and we have the 7 Dems - Byrd of West Virginia, Tim Johnson of South Dakota, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Kent Conrad of North Dakota, Daniel Akaka of Hawaii, Ken Salazar of Colorado and Byron Dorgan of North Dakota all on record, at this point.
