I'm getting the distinct feeling the powers that be at Wikipedia do not like the Repugs
Reason: Look at what they choose as "Today's featured article" for Sunday:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

Of all the things they could have chosen, nothing is more timely than that with the elections this Tuesday. And when Tuesday does come, it will still be linked on the front page in the "Recently featured" area.

1. Their job is writing the truth. The truth is biased against Republicans.

2. Remember, remember, the Fifth of November

It's timely.

Edit: In retrospect, this post isn't as clear as I meant it to be - I think your theory is wrong. The reference has everything to do with Guy Fawkes Day, not with trying to convince people to vote Democratic.

3. When Wikipedia expels the repugs

That suppress information, then I will send them another donation, but not until then.

4. Guy Fawkes day
V for Vendetta is full of Guy Fakes references, down to the mask that V wears.
