5. Not necessarily a bad thing, imo

Give them a break from ripping John Kerry for something he didn't even say, but Dems and Repubs alike are all too happy to pound the drum on (which doesn't help the Dem party so I'm not sure why aforementioned "Dems" so readily jumped on the bandwagon. Oh wait...it doesn't help the Dem party....:think:).

So Saddam is found guilty and sentenced to hang. BFD. Where's the potential for damage to Democrats in talking about it? It's not like anyone is going to go off on a philosophic discussion at this point about the evil of the death penalty. Or get into some discussion about how Saddam being apprehended is not necessarily a good thing. (Both of which are valid points for discussion, but pointless to discuss in such forums).

This was a frickin foregone conclusion and any Dem who isn't prepared for the discussion is an idiot, imo.
