Phone Number for Sen Dorgan -- Please call him to change his mind |
|
Edited on Fri Jan-27-06 12:38 PM by Armstead
Dorgan has usually been on our side, and often has been in front of otehr Dems on issues like trade and media consolidation. His apparent decision to support Alito is baffling and diappointing to me.
I called his office to urge him to change his mind. You should too. He seems like one who could be persuaded.
Washington, DC U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan 322 Hart Senate Office Building Washington, DC 20510 Phone: 202-224-2551 Fax: 202-224-1193

and said I could not understand, that didn't they know that Alito's confirmation would gag Congress...and that if he voted in favor, he might as well pack his bags and go home.

officially announced how he will vote on Alito. But she listened intently and said that yes, it is a life time appointment.
I am hopeful!
But I shouldn't have been able to get right through! CALL!!!!

Dorgan is usually one of the good guys. If he's on the fence there's a chance he can be persuaded by a show of suppot.

15. Byron Dorgan is very very progressive for a 'red state' Democrat. |
|
I think he might be able to be persuaded.

This is out of character from most of the things he has done in the Senate
