My God - the Number Today is 2831 (and rising fast) |

Wounded - about 20,600.
I have been surprised lately. We have had pictures of funerals on the front page of the KC Star. Actual stories re: Iraq on the front page.
It's way past time. We need to get those kids out of there - like yesterday. Instead, I think our troop numbers are now up to 150,000. So much for the big drawdown.

Your thread title says 2837, but when I hit reply, it says 2831 (and it doesn't say you've edited your post).
Can someone else confirm what I'm seeing here????
On edit, I see you changed it between the time I hit reply, went back and then hit reply again.

When I watch the obituaries on PBS most of the dead are in their 20's. And they just look so young to me.
The other thing I notice is how many Hispanic names there are. And here we are trying to build a fence to keep them out.
Very sad stuff.
